A personal note to you:
Even before I became a ventriloquist I was building props and object lessons for use in our church classrooms as I taught. So when I took up the art of ventriloquism in the 1950's, it could be expected that I would begin installing moving mouths to my props so they could "talk" with me, and to my students and our church congregation as well as other churches, schools, and groups where I was invited to speak. I certainly did not get pictures of them all, but I do have photos of nearly 100 of the "novelty" type puppets I have built over a period of 50 plus years. I'll plan to sharing many of them with you on this page as I locate the photos and the time.
